ABOUT US
Giving Day is a community service project created by the father and son duo, Harvey and Harrison Hwang. Every two years, Giving Day renovates and builds new structures and areas for schools with special needs programs. Our projects not only beautify the campus environment but also assist in the academic and emotional welfare of all students. We strive to teach younger generations the importance of community service, teamwork, and engineering, while also raising awareness of special needs children and their significance.
Our Inspiration
The motivation behind the formation of Giving Day comes from Harvey's son and Harrison's brother, Hunter, who is special needs. Each project is dedicated to Hunter's infectious energy and charisma, which is why we target schools with special needs programs to be recipients. Furthermore, this organization would fulfill Harvey's dream of having a legacy of community service connected with the Hwang family.
